Cum functioneaza si cum se instaleaza
Tubul se monteaza pe cablul sau conexiunea electrica dezizolata, apoi se incalzeste uniform cu un foen industrial sau sursa de caldura controlata. La 90 grade Celsius, materialul se contracta radial cu minimum 50%, formand un invelis protector strans. Lungimea tubului ramane aproape neschimbata (variatie maxima 5%), ceea ce permite acoperirea precisa a zonei dorite.

Diametrul se reduce cu minimum 50%, asadar un tub de 8mm ajunge la aproximativ 4mm dupa contractie completa.
Pot folosi un foen de par normal pentru contractie?
Nu este recomandat. E nevoie de minimum 90 grade Celsius, temperatura pe care foenul de par nu o atinge constant. Foloseste foen industrial, bricheta sau pistol termic.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
