Chip-ul LED COB 15W cu diametru activ de 14,8mm este o sursa de lumina de inalta densitate, potrivita pentru corpuri de iluminat, sisteme de proiectie si reclame luminoase. Tehnologia COB (Chip-on-Board) concentreaza mai multe diode LED intr-o singura suprafata emisiva, rezultand un flux luminos uniform si eficienta ridicata de pana la 150 lm/W. Formatul compact de 19x19mm permite integrarea in spatii reduse fara compromisuri de performanta.

Cum functioneaza si cum se instaleaza
Chip-ul LED COB se alimenteaza la 45V DC cu un curent de 300mA printr-un driver LED compatibil — conexiunile pozitiv si negativ sunt marcate in colturile opuse ale suportului de aluminiu. Montarea se face pe un radiator pasiv sau activ folosind obligatoriu pasta termoconductoare, pentru a asigura disiparea caldurii generate la putere mare. Nu necesita lipituri suplimentare pe circuit, contactele de alimentare se pot conecta direct prin fire sau cleme specifice.

Da, chip-ul necesita un driver LED care furnizeaza 45V DC la 300mA. Un driver de tensiune constanta standard de 12V sau 24V nu este compatibil cu acest model.
Se incalzeste puternic in timpul functionarii — este normal?
Da, la 15W orice chip LED COB genereaza caldura semnificativa. Montarea pe radiator de aluminiu cu pasta termoconductoare este obligatorie pentru functionarea corecta si durata de viata normala a componentei.
Poate fi folosit acest chip in exterior sau in medii cu umiditate?
Nu. Chip-ul nu are protectie IP si nu este recomandat pentru medii umede, expunere la intemperii sau temperaturi extreme. Este destinat exclusiv aplicatiilor de interior sau corpurilor de iluminat cu carcasa etansa proprie.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
