Chip-ul LED COB 5W cu dimensiunea de 13,5 x 13,5 mm este o sursa de lumina de inalta densitate, destinata proiectelor de iluminat care necesita flux luminos ridicat intr-un spatiu redus. Temperatura de culoare alba-rece (6000-6500K) si un randament de pana la 150 lm/W il fac potrivit pentru corpuri de iluminat, casete publicitare si sisteme de iluminat industrial. Suportul din aluminiu cu fante de prindere asigura disiparea termica necesara functionarii stabile pe termen lung.

Cum functioneaza si cum se instaleaza
Chip-ul LED COB 5W se alimenteaza la 15V DC cu un curent de 300 mA, printr-un driver LED corespunzator (nu este inclus). Montarea se face direct pe un radiator metalic folosind pasta termoconductoare, pentru a asigura disiparea caldurii generate in functionare. Contactele de alimentare pozitiv si negativ se afla in colturi diferite ale suportului de aluminiu, identificabile prin marcajul de pe chip, iar conectarea incorecta a polaritatii sau utilizarea unui voltaj eronat poate deteriora iremediabil componenta.

Da, chip-ul necesita un driver LED care furnizeaza 15V DC la 300 mA. Nu se conecteaza direct la reteaua de 220V.
Se incalzeste mult acest chip si am nevoie de radiator?
Da, la 5W chip-ul genereaza caldura semnificativa si trebuie montat obligatoriu pe un radiator metalic cu pasta termoconductoare, altfel durata de viata scade considerabil.
Poate fi folosit in exterior sau in spatii umede?
Nu. Chip-ul LED COB nu are protectie la umiditate si nu este indicat pentru utilizare in medii umede sau expus direct la intemperii — se monteaza doar in corpuri de iluminat cu grad de protectie adecvat.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
