Cum functioneaza si cum se instaleaza
Intrerupatorul functioneaza prin actionare mecanica a pedalei: apasarea inchide circuitul electric (ON), iar eliberarea il deschide automat (OFF) prin mecanism cu revenire pe arc. Se conecteaza direct in circuitul de alimentare al echipamentului, intre sursa de tensiune si consumator. Instalarea necesita cunostinte de baza in electricitate — se recomanda montarea de catre personal calificat pentru siguranta operationala. Pedalele de fixare permit ancorarea ferma la podea sau pe suprafata de lucru.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
