Becul LED MR16 de 3W functioneaza direct la 220V, eliminand nevoia unui transformator separat — o solutie practica pentru inlocuirea directa a becurilor halogen clasice. Cum functioneaza si cum se instaleaza
Becul foloseste trei diode LED de cate 1W, montate pe un suport metalic cu nervuri de racire, care previn supraincalzirea si prelungesc durata de viata. Se conecteaza direct la 220V AC prin soclul MR16 GU5.3 standard, fara niciun adaptor sau driver extern. Inlocuirea se face la fel ca orice bec MR16 clasic: rotire usoara si scoatere, introducere bec nou — operatiune de sub un minut, fara scule.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
